Fortune Oil PLC is aware that a number of shareholders have received unsolicited phone calls or correspondence concerning investment matters suggesting they are linked with potential offers. The Company believes that these are not bona fide offers for shares and shareholders are advised to be cautious about any unsolicited financial advice.

Warning about email job
offer scam
Beware email scams claiming to be from Fortune Oil PLC. The scams
seem to be targeting Asian countries and currently South Africa.
Our official website is www.fortune-oil.com
and official email address is info@fortuneoil.co.uk
. We have no other website and email addresses.
Fortune Oil is not hiring. We do not send unsolicited emails
offering employment either directly or through agents. Any such
approach is from a fraudster and is a direct attempt to defraud
you. We will never request your personal information, nor will we
ever request that you send us money. This is not a legitimate
Fortune Oil PLC job offer. The senders are not associated with
Fortune Oil.
The fraudulent emails (click
for scam examples 1 and 2) are the latest in a series of scam
messages that have been sent out purporting to be from Fortune Oil PLC.
It also appears those writing the emails have used publicly-available
information about Fortune Oil PLC and our work to attempt to give the
scam an air of authenticity, an example of fake appointment letter (click
for a scam example).
Fortune Oil PLC has reported to the UK authorities. We disclaim
all responsibility with respect to any expense, loss and/or damage of
any kinds, which might have occurred in connection with any job
application and/or recruitment procedure via email.
